Physique Is for Me
I descried the Slink Physique demo with its unnecessary, distracting tattoos (and still don’t like it), but I have definitely reformed my opinion about the mesh body on offer by Siddean Munro. (I also promise to spell Slink without the capital L from now on as well.) The difference between wearing the demo and the actual body is wonderful! My original impression remains that this mesh body more accurately maps to the system body, which means it shares some drawbacks. But when you start fitting clothes on as well as skins—mmmmm, my oh my! When I slipped on my Liquid Mesh jeans ala Redgrave from two or three years back and worked the Alpha HUD magic on it, I am totally stunned and sold!
I took a whole new series of photos of my naked mesh body and having reviewed my previous post feel that these do a better job of showing how nice the new body is.
Sizes from 88, 66, and 55 above with side shots of 44 and 33 below.
Not so terrible from the front, but loses something from the side. It does help to increase gravity settings.
What really convinced to take the plunge on the body was seeing how the Somnia appliers worked on the demo. As you can also see from the opening photo, when I got the actual body I was entranced with the effects. So I went a little crazy at the My Slink Obsession shopping event.
A cute tank from Stellar, an MSO co-sponsor, and below, you see Blushed Jewel Havana Stockings with multiple choice HUD for the applier.
The Sheer Body Stocking by Lacuna blows me away. (Shoes are from Somnia at MSO, too.) Yes, that’s Pirate’s Wench hair in reds by little bones. The skin is from Morphine, Nadine Medium, a group gift this month. There are Morphine appliers for Second and Third Wave skins.
Some of the photos above also show how my system hands are just not going to work with the body.
Wearing my favorite watch is a temporary solution to the gap.
I complained to a former work colleague about it, thinking I’d have to rework my arm lengths or something to fix the problem. What a wonderful surprise! He sent me a pack of five hands via SLMP! (I got Pack 1 with Victory, Splayed, Gesture, Elegant, and Casual—had no idea there were so many from which to choose.)
Virtual Insanity has great nail packs at MSO, these are Peacock. (Wearing Splatter Metallic shoes by Somnia.)
Shooting Star nails from Somnia.
With all the Slink nails packs I have from Somnia and the plethora of nails available at My Slink Obsession, I had a great time trying out nails on feet and hands. Needless to say, I am very very pleased with my Slink investments!
Just as I did with TMP Body, I will show some exciting pics demonstrating the Slink Alpha HUD. But for a sneak preview check out these Liquid Mesh Jeans from Redgrave that have to be close to two years old:
